Voicemail Setup

Need to set up voicemail, or having trouble with it? Find your device below and work through the steps in order.

Apple

Setting Up Voicemail

  1. Open the Phone app and tap the Voicemail tab.

  2. Tap Set Up Now.

  3. Create a voicemail password, then record a greeting (or use the default).

  4. Tap Save or Done.

Voicemail Tab Not Loading or “Voicemail Not Set Up”

  • Toggle Airplane Mode on for 15 seconds, then off, and check the Voicemail tab again.

  • Restart the phone.

  • Try a network settings reset: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

  • If it's still not working, contact Previ support to confirm visual voicemail is provisioned correctly on your line.

Samsung

Setting Up Voicemail

  1. Open the Phone app and tap the Voicemail tab.

  2. Follow the prompts to set a password and record a greeting.

Voicemail Not Loading or Not Notifying You

  • Toggle Airplane Mode on for 15 seconds, then off, and check again.

  • Restart the phone.

  • Try a network settings reset: Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings.

  • If visual voicemail won't load at all, you can usually reach traditional voicemail by pressing and holding 1 on the keypad, or dialing your voicemail access number directly.

  • Still not working? Contact Previ support to confirm visual voicemail is provisioned correctly on your line.

Google

Setting Up Voicemail

  1. Open the Phone app and tap the Voicemail tab.

  2. Follow the prompts to set a password and record a greeting.

Voicemail Not Loading or Not Notifying You

Motorola

LG

LG exited the mobile phone business in 2021, so visual voicemail support varies more by model and Android version on these devices.

  2. Follow the prompts to set a password and record a greeting.

Voicemail Not Loading or Not Notifying You

  • Toggle Airplane Mode on for 15 seconds, then off, and check again.

  • Restart the phone.

  • Try a network settings reset from Settings > System > Reset options (path may vary on older LG software).

  • If visual voicemail won't load at all, you can usually reach traditional voicemail by pressing and holding 1 on the keypad, or dialing your voicemail access number directly.

  • Still not working? Contact Previ support to confirm visual voicemail is provisioned correctly on your line.
