Your lines
Select Wireless in the menu to see every line on your account, along with the phone number, the device on it, and its current status.
If you are paying for a device in installments, the remaining balance appears alongside the line that device belongs to.
Adding a line
Select Add a line from the Wireless page and follow the steps. You can add lines for family members, and for watches and tablets as well as phones.
You will need a few things to hand depending on whether the new line is bringing a number over from another carrier:
The account number and transfer PIN from the current carrier, if you are keeping an existing number.
Details of the device that will use the line.
You will get a review screen before anything is submitted, so you can check everything first.
A past due balance blocks new lines. If your account is behind, the portal will ask you to clear the balance before continuing. Pay from the Billing page and then come back.
Keeping your number and your phone
Yes to both. You can bring your existing number with you, and you can keep using the phone you already own as long as it works on the network.
If you still owe money on your current phone through another carrier, that balance does not disappear when you switch. Contact Member Services before you start and we will walk you through the options.
Add-ons
Under your lines you will find the add-ons available for your plan, such as international options and extra hotspot data. Each one shows its monthly cost and which line it applies to.
To turn one on or off, select it and confirm. Two things to expect:
Changes take a few seconds to reach the carrier. The status updates on its own, so you do not need to refresh the page.
The cost appears on your next bill, and the portal tells you which bill date that is when you make the change.
Add-ons apply per line, so turning one on for your own phone does not turn it on for anyone else on your account.
Paying off a device early
Where early payoff is available, a Pay Off Early option appears with the device's installment balance on the Wireless page. There is no penalty for paying ahead of schedule.
If you expected to see it and do not, contact Member Services. Not every installment can be paid off through the portal.
If a line is not working
Newly activated lines sometimes need a restart before service appears, and a phone showing SOS or No Service right after a transfer usually resolves with one. We have separate articles covering porting problems, eSIM setup, and general troubleshooting. Activation can sometimes take up to 30 minutes to fully complete. If a call doesn’t connect right away, wait a few minutes and try again.
If none of that helps, contact Member Services at [email protected] or 801-437-0620. On the right-hand side, it will show pending if the line is not yet active. If your carrier performs a refresh on your line, it's recommended to restart your iPhone to ensure the changes take effect.
