What is on the Billing page
Select Billing in the menu. The top of the page shows two cards: your Estimated Next Bill and the payment method we will charge.
The estimate is exactly that. It reflects what we expect to charge on your next bill date based on your current lines, products, and any credit on your account. Adding a line or an add-on mid-cycle will change it.
Seeing what you were charged for
Your past bills are listed under Bill History, newest first. Select any bill to open the full breakdown of charges, including each line, add-ons, device installments, and fees.
If you have a lot of history, select Load more at the bottom to keep going further back.
If you need a formal PDF invoice for expense reporting or reimbursement, contact Member Services and we will send it over.
Making a payment
Previ charges your default payment method automatically on your bill date, so in normal months you do not need to do anything.
When you do want to pay manually, go to Billing and choose one of these:
Make a payment pays your balance in full.
Make a partial payment pays some of it now. This is the option to use if you cannot cover the whole balance yet, since paying something is better than paying nothing.
Pay ahead puts money on your account before a bill exists.
Paying ahead
You can prepay your account and let the credit cover future bills. This is useful before a trip, or if you would rather pay in larger chunks a few times a year than every month.
A single prepayment has to be at least $1.00 and no more than $1,500. That cap is per payment, not per account, so you can pay ahead more than once and build up a larger credit if you want to.
Credit on your account shows on the Billing page and is applied automatically to your next bill. You will see pending credit listed separately while a payment is still clearing.
Cards cost 3% more than bank accounts
Credit and debit card payments carry a 3% processing fee. Paying from a linked bank account has no fee.
On a $60 bill that is a difference of about $22 a year, so if you are paying by card out of habit rather than necessity, switching your default to a bank account is the single easiest saving available in the portal. See Adding and Managing Payment Methods for how.
Paying off a device early
If you are paying for a phone in monthly installments, the remaining balance appears on the Wireless page next to the line that device is on, not on the Billing page.
Where early payoff is available for a device, you will see a Pay Off Early option there. There is no penalty for paying a device off ahead of schedule.
If your account is past due
A past due balance shows as an alert at the top of your Billing and Wireless pages. Clearing it restores full access to your account, including the ability to add new lines.
If a payment went through but your service has not come back, give it a short while and then contact Member Services rather than paying twice.
Changing your bill date
Your bill date can be moved once every 60 days. This is not something you can change yourself in the portal, so contact Member Services at [email protected] or 801-437-0620 and we will set it.
